Volker Hofferbert to coach RWFC officially from November

October 2012: Royal Wahingdoh FC’s newly appointed Head Coach Volker Hofferbert will formally occupy his position with the club from November 1^st as the team begins preparations for the 2^nd Division I League. The 63 year old Coach from Germany is an International football coach holding a UEFA Pro Licence and is ranked amongst the highest DFB-licensed football coaches in Germany and Europe (Fußball-Lehrer-Lizenz) with a Masters Degree in Sport Science.

The newly appointed coach will look to use his international-level experience while with the team as RWFC aims to make another attempt for I League qualification. Although Hofferbert has recently trained with the team, he will play a more intense role come November. The coach from Germany has over 30 years of experience with assignments in Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Iceland, Yemen, Romania and Laos. He was also the former head coach of the Yemen National Football team and has also taken charge of building-up sporting structures in Laos, with specialization in youth and women football.
